My husband and I are looking to find land and purchase a manufactured home in NJ. I am finding this to be extremely difficult, as i really don't know where to start. NJ doesn't really seem to have a market for manufactured housing. we'd want to put the home on a permanent foundation ... what does it take to prepare the land for this. and which dealers service NJ? please help

Check you the New Jersey Manufactured Housing Association or with the New Jersey State Administrative Agency. If they are not in the yellow pages look on the internet. The Association should be able to assist you.

New Jersey has some strick rules you will need to follow......

Also, buy from a local manufacturer, PA has many good ones and sell close to you.
