Guide to Serial #'s in California

Hi,

My name is Susan. I recently saw something published by the State of Arizona that was a "decoder" for Arizona manufactured home serial numbers.

Has anyone seen anything similar for California?

I am in the possession of a mobile home. The only identification I have for the mobile home is what I found on the electrical panel. A Lancer with a serial # 529. It is a doublewide. From the Coleman heating unit, I believe it might be a 1973 Lancer. All the serial numbers on the chassis, etc. have been scratched off or removed. Nothing on the inside of the trailer in closets, under sink, etc. Mobile home has been remodeled. It says it was manufactured in Marysville, CA. Just trying to guess at the remaining numbers or letters for the serial number so I can search for the registered owner on the CA Housing & Community Development website.

Any help you could give me would be most appreciated.
