repairing moisture barrier

Post by nt4prft » Mon Feb 04, 2013 7:34 pm

I am working on a 1951 Bendix double wide MH. I need to repair a cut made in the moisture barrier, so I could get to and fix a waterleak. The barrier is made of this rubber material I am not familiar with. It looks as if there is some kind of fabric embedded in this rubber material. Any ideas to what this 1951 moisture barrier is made of and how I can patch it? (glue, needle and thread, hot patch) IDK. Any suggestions are more than welcome.
