Hi, I've been living in my manufactured home 6 yrs. now. We have continually been having a problem with a leaky roof. We had the manufacturer come out a number of times for different things in the beginning, but there was a leak that supposedly was fixed (1 yr. ago) and now there is a crack in the ceiling, which looks like there still is a leak there. It also looks like there is some separation in the wall. This outfit gave us grief from the last repair, they said it is no longer under warranty. ( 5 yr.). They are in Idaho and we live in Calif. Evidently, the warranty on the roof is the shingles. Any suggestions as what to do? the rainy season will be here soon.
Thanks

make lemonade.
The best thing to do with lemons is to make lemonade.
We are happy to offer guidance for getting what you are entitled to from your home's warranty. If in fact, the warranty is over you have two choices. You will take care of the problems yourself or you won't.
What ever happened before or who was supposed to do what is in the rear view mirror and out of reach. I understand your frustration. The first choice - taking care of your home yourself - makes best sense, unless you can afford to abandon your home and move on.
Contact several local, licensed roofing contractors for a free estimate of what it will take to fix the problem. The longer you take to fix it the more water damage your home will suffer.
Save your home.
