find manufacturer 1971 double wide with serial #

Post by lamc » Wed Aug 10, 2011 6:46 pm

I need manufacturer for 1971 double wide with serial #352TTLD750. I have been on the internet for 3 hours. I have been directed so many places. A young lady from my car insurance, helping me so I could also get homeowners insurance, found this for me and this is how I got my search started:(I probably need title and manufacturer, for insurance?!) I am not a computer whiz or whiz at this deed title stuff) Can someone help so I get modular home insurance or mobile home insurance.Thank you in advance.

I found a registry of deeds online and it included the Lot No. 57 of the Twin Oaks Subdivision, Section #2 document. The serial number for the mobile home on the document reads as 352TTLD750.

Below is the link I was able to get this information:

http://www.hccoky.org/eSearch/LandRecor ... perty.aspx

You would select property type as "Subdivision", select "Twin Oaks" (select that name EXACTLY), scroll down, the Book/Page number is 347/230. The document is the deed from 1978 but this is for your exact Lot, section, and subdivision.

I hope this helps you get insurance! If you have questions, feel free to reply to this email.

We value your business and the opportunity to serve all your financial needs.

Thank you,
Elise Urrutia

Your home was built prior to the adoption of the HUD building code and so the only data stored about your home would be at the state level. Contact your state Department of Motor Vehicles. When your home was sold new by a dealer he was required to register and title the home in the name of the original buyer.
