insulation

Post by tvogel » Tue Jul 12, 2011 9:55 am

I'm replacing the insulation due to a water leak from the air condition. It will be a rather large area. I am in Zone 3, can I just get the R19 to R25 from Home Depot or do I need anything special? I will remove the old damaged insulation, spray the anti-mold then replace with new insulation. The contractor insists I do not have any bottom board currently.

For the most efficient way to re-insulate the floor of a MH see the video at http://www.mobilehome.com/portal/stories.php3?nid=5604

Contractors that do not specialize in manufactured home work often don't understand what bottom board is... because it is not a board. It is most often a heavy plastic rolled product. Check out CompleteMobileHomeSupply.com.
