I hope many people are reading these complaints about Quality Wholesale Homes / Goldbilt Manufactured Homes / DSH Housing Group / Peritus Financial to see how many people they have scammed out of thousands of dollars. I am one of their victims losing $5,000 to "price-lock" my home. They took my money in 2007 and we're now in 2009 and I still haven't seen my home- not only that but they are now "out of business" and are now functioning as "Goldbilt Manufactured Homes" out of Montana.
Has anyone on here received a refund from this company?
Does anyone know if there are any people pursuing a Class Action Lawsuit against this company because I would love to hop on the band wagon?

I too sent them money in 2007. I started trying to get my money back a year ago and still nothing. I know of 3 people that did get there money back 1 through the Utah BBB 1 in small claim's ( the company didn't show up) and 1 through the American Arbitration Assoc. I tried the BBB and the AAA and wasn't able to get any where. I guess they wised up. I'm in contact with close to 50 people that are in the same situation.The have lost between $3000. - $75,000. and I know there are more people out there. As far as doing a Class Action we can't find a lawyer that wants to get involved in it, none of the government agencies want to get involved either. you would think that something with is amount of loss would get someone attention. my husband and i both agreed to do a hardship withdrawl from my retirement of $2500.00 to put as a deposit (Price Protected), on a home with quality wholesale homes. needless to say, that was in 2007 and i still have no home from that company. they conviently went out of business, i was in a state of shock at first, thinking how could i be scammed like this, well after getting in touch with mr. toshi battford the guy who made the inital contact with me in the name of the company. he gave me the name of a fellow client of theirs(qwhs)that had contacted the department of community affairs in the state of texas. i am getting my money back because they were bonded with the state of texas. so, maybe you guys need to do as i did, contact the fbi, ftc, and your attorney generals office in what ever state you are in. i noticed that all the sites they were working are now "under construction". no, they are in some serious trouble. please everyone involved contact the fbi so you can file a complaint with the ic3 division(internet crimes). anyone know of a class action lawsuit please contact me at: [email protected]

I too have sent QWH $2500.00 and now have heard nothing and i would like to pursue any class action lawsuits or get any info i can to get my money back.

Below are some of the most recent updates from DSH Victims and other online sources. First thing you should do is file a complaint for Internet fraud and larceny (theft) with your local police dept., then the FBI and the FTC. Your complaint should be for Internet fraud and larceny. Be sure to name the varmints that stole your money. They are:

He informed me that anyone who dealt with QWH (DHS) he can help you! His phone # is 512-463-7335. On September 1, 2009 the Utah Division of Consumer Protection issued an Final Order by Default against DSH Management Services LLC, Quality Wholesale Homes West LLC, Peritus Financial Services LLC, Devon S Howard, and R. Scott Leckie ("Respondents"). The Respondents were ordered to cease and desist from: a) failing to ship goods or furnish services within the time advertised or otherwise represented after receiving payment; b) conducting business regulated by the Credit Services Organization Act without first securing a certificate of registration from the Division and posting a bond, letter of credit or certificate of deposit; c) charging or receiging money or other valuable consideration prior to full and complete performance of services Respondents agree to perform for buyers; d) making or causing to be made untrue material statements, or failing to disclose material facts necessary to make statements made not misleading in connection with telephone solicitations; e) failing to make refunds to consumers within thirty (30) days of receiving valid requests for refunds; and f) any act in violation of the Utah Consumer Sales Practices Act, the Credit Services Organization Act, and the Telephone Fraud Prevention Act. The Respondents were assessed and ordered to pay an administrative fine in the amount of $87,500.00.

Definitely get your complaint into the Utah and Montana's Attorney Generals. Ask them to assess retribution/restitution on behalf of the numerous DSH/QWH victims, which they should reimburse these victims with some of the $87,500 fine money they collect.
Also, some sources in St. George, Utah that know of or live near DeVon S. Howard, claim he owns tons of property, many nice cars, homes and businesses. When things get too "hot" for him to handle, he heads to his vacation homes in Mexico and Caribbean.... so the victims of DSH should, at bear minimum, file complaints in Small Claims Court (if amount he stole from you is $5000 or less) to obtain judgements, then garnishing DSHoward's bank accounts and placing liens on his property, which he must pay you first before he can buy or sell any more properties, or you could take possession of his property and force it to be sold at public auction to pay you back.
