Dormer

We are about to Purchase a Southern Energy Double Wide Model # SS9847,
It comes with One Dormer on the Exterior and I was wondering if this is going to in any way make the addition of a Porch difficult, Also if We were to have a Double Dormer added (if possible) would this be better or worse? Are Multiple Dormers possible on Front Porches?

There are more than 1 type of add-on porch. A shed roofed porch comes off the edge of the roof..The kind you are talking to looks like it is hipped into the roof. Some builders would rather hip the porch directly into a straight roof with no dormer.. Others seem to like to build from the edge of the dormer..Unfortunately the dormer is not always in the most ideal place for a porch..Talk to the person you intend to have build the porch for their advise and consul..
