Looking into purchasing a MH

Post by Ryoukoe » Sun Sep 16, 2007 7:58 pm

I have been looking around my area and found a couple of MH for around $1000-2000. Now I know for the cost that there will be problems. My question is will these be expensive problems? When I am looking at the MH what are some warning signs I should keep my eyes open for? Is it very expensive to fix a MH or is it about the same as fixing a regular house? What are some things I might see that are reasonably easy to fix? I have looked at the parks that these are all located in and they are very nice, have manicured lawns and play areas. I can afford an appartment just thought I might be getting a better deal by purchasing a MH and more space.

If the parks are nice and in good locations, I wonder why anyone would sell for such a low price..Could be anything from the park closing to huge hidden problems..In my areas they would rent for about $700 per moth and investors would jump on these TODAY...
The book store here has a great offer on just the book you will need...Just the description of the book lists all that could be needed find it here..
