Hi everyone. This is our first post and we are glad we found this site.

Has anyone ever heard of a manufacturer named KABCO?

Secondly, why isn't there much wiggle room in the price of manufactured homes, especially the doublewides?

Can someone tell us their experiences with certain manufacturers? Which is the best in your opinion?

Welcome Aboard....Glad you found us...If you read many post here, you will see many referrals to the bookstore on this site and John Grissom's Ratings Guide. All manufactures are listed..

If you try the search function above you will find a thread on this company in 2006. There were 4 or 5 posts there..

not sure about that name but i live in central La! i dont see many louisianas on forums that often! i have a DW champion chandelieur-love it. we just got a clayton homes center about 6 months ago and we went killing time one day--and fell in love!!!go check them out!!!

Glad to hear from a fellow CENLA buddy. I am just south of Alexandria about 45 miles.

I stopped at everyone of the manufactured home dealers out on Highway 28 West and I think I like the construction of the KABCO the best. I may be wrong; but I just got a feeling after studying everything. Plus I feel like the service will be better from Bolton Manufactured Homes.

By the way, I did go by Clayton homes.
