Door Locks

This is my second mobile home, and the second time I've come across this nuisance.

I want to replace the door locks (doorknobs) and add a deadbolt on my doors. But the knobs are placed further toward the center of the door than on regular houses. If I go to my local hardware store to get locks, none of them have a bolt long enough to directly replace the knob. Plus, the deadbolt wouldn't line up.

Without going to a specialty store, is there anything I can do?
