1995 Redman

Post by prairydawn » Thu Jul 27, 2006 8:32 am

I am going to look at that pre-owned MH, I just found out that it is a 1995 Redman. I have been reading through previous posts that have discussed Redman homes. It seems that the general opinion is that it is a fairly good home, not the best, but decent quality. Though I did see some posts that were a little alarming. Am I correct to assume that Redman is generally a good home but that the plant in which it was manufactured is the real crucial factor? Good plant vs. bad plant. I don't know in which plant it was built but the home was bought and place in NY just south of Ithaca. And thoughts on how I can find out where it was built? The previous owners are in the midst of a divorce and not living on site, I don't know how accessable they are. Also when looking at the home is there anything that is particular to the Redman I should be looking for? I don't know which model the home is all I know is that it is 1680 sp. ft. I tried to find a floor plan that would tell me which model it is but had no luck. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Since the home is in New York, It most likely came from the redman plant in Ephrata, Pennsylvania.
As you suggested, the quality is dictated by the plant which built the home, with that said, Redman in PA is a decent plant.
they build a decent lower end product. They have a good record for service.
