Hello, it's me again. Last week I wrote about my modular home being delivered to the side of the road ten miles away and sitting there for 12 days. In that time the windows and doors were broken. Well the builder finally delivered it to the home site one week ago but it is still unassembled. His answer to our questions about when the home will be set up is "I have no idea". We have contacted everyone, including a lawyer but there is some confusion about whether or not we have a binding contract for him to finish. We'd like to hire a new crew to set up and do the interior work. Hasn't he already violated the deal by leaving the home unattended on the road for 12 days? I'm sorry to bother you with this but my nerves cannot take much longer. My stomach hurts everyday and all the extra time and fees is costing us too much $.
THank you,
christina
delivery nightmare part 2
Re: delivery nightmare part 2
Geez...this guy needs out of the business...Only your attorney can advise you on the legal issues about your contract...If you can get out of this contract...do so and get as far away from him you can...Setting your own home is probably not such a good idea...
