Re: 2005 silvercreek
I tried looking on their website to find out how they were built but they dont go into how their homes our constructed. I just finalized on a solitaire home so my opinion might be biased but I think the Solitaires are top of the line and silvercreek are aways down the line. The standard solitaire package is what "most" other manufactured homes allow you to "upgrade" to. I went with a 2300sf home every possible upgrade vinyl siding and it came out to just a little over $36 a square foot. You are limited on upgrades and customizing the solitaires to how you want them but in my opinion, quality of a home is 10 times more important than fancy upgrades. But with the limited upgrades, that is how they are able to offer such a good deal on their homes.
Re: 2005 silvercreek
I just moved into a new Silver Creek 28x48 and so far I am pleased. There is a problem with some of the cabinets but hopefully the factory will straighten this out. I had several upgrades including carpet, larger sinks, a patio door installed, Structure Panel vertical siding, and 2x6 walls and increased insulation. I have a good dealer who is working with me on little things,
