Re: What company builds the BEST manufactured home?
Are you planning on buying the worst home for the money or the best ?
You will find buyers that have had problems with EVERY brand of home and for that matter every make of automobile or any production product.
If you are looking for the BEST buy you would do much better to ask who has the BEST track record.
I'm sorry for those of you who are having a problem with your new home. I hope we can assist you.
IF YOU HAVE ANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE OF YOUR MANUFACTURED HOME that have not been resolved by the retailer where you purchased the home you should contact the manufacturer that produced the home. If the problems are left unresolved by the factory then you need to contact the state agency where you live that administers the federal code regulating manufactured housing. The Agency that regulates manufactured housing in your state. You can find the contact information for that agency on our site at http://manufactured-housing.net/saa
IF YOUR INTERESTED IN FINDING THE BEST BUY FOR YOUR BUCK: See the new Manufactured Home Comparison Guide. For years people have been requesting a comparison guide or rating system for the various brands of manufactured homes. For the first time ever we can now deliver a book that compares over 40 of the most popular manufacturers in the United States.

Re: What company builds the BEST manufactured home?
There is a website that lists complaints called Homeowners against Deficient Dwellings (www.hadd.com). There are several manufactured home companies listed.
Re: What company builds the BEST manufactured home?
Complaining is all that ever gets done. If you get a poor dealer and/or a poor manufacturer, they'll never make the effort to take care of you. HUD will give you the cold shoulder. Right now, dealing with Skyline for 19 months, I just went to Underwriters Laboratory ( Skyline is the only manufacturer using a third part inspection ) and told them what problems I've continually had. BINGO! Within 24 hours UL was getting info from me. Seems that UL wants to keep there good name. Well, I hope THEY will be the ones that can help me, as no agency, dealer manufacturer, has even care to call me.Vist other web sites, BE CAREFULL, Good Luck.
