Peel and stick tile

Years ago we put peel and stick tile over a wooden floor in our spare bedroom and eventually covered the tiles with wall to wall carpet. I now want to remove the carpet and the tiles and just have the bare wooden floor showing. How much trouble will it be for me to pull up the peel and stick tiles from the wooden floor. Is there any easy way to remove them without damaging the wooden floor?

Does anyone have any suggestions? Can anyone help me with my problem?

Try it in a place that doesn't show. It's hard to say - the adhesive may have bonded only a little - in which case, you're fine - or a lot - in which case, you get to do something different.
