tie down/anchor cost

Post by frank van mol » Wed Nov 30, 2005 10:44 am

HI -----I'm looking to buy in Central Florida and would consider an older double wide if I could add the required tie downs or anchors. Can anyone give me a ball park figure on what the cost would be per anchor or for a 1200 to 1500 ft double wide?

Generally when I tie down a home, I figure about $35 per anchor for material, and $35 per anchor for labor. Of course this is assuming your drilling into normal soil. Go down to the Keys where it's all rock, then labor will skyrocket.
