Garden Tub Replacement

My mobile home has a standard step Garden Tub that I would like to replace with a whirlpool tub. Does anyone make a tub that fits this application? What are you suggestions? Thanks. Teresa

Teresa, it can be accomplished. What you need to do is some shopping to find one that will fit in the space available. Of course you will have to deal with some plumbing re configurations. You must also measure your door as you have to remember that these tubs were installed before the walls or doors were put up, so you have to be aware of the space you have to get in the door. So some measurements need to be taken. Your not restricted as to what or where you buy, but if you can make it fit. Also, if this is an older home, you may have to deal with a rotten floor under the tub. May or may not be, but its not uncommon in MH's. So if thats the case you may be looking at replacing the floor to insure it will hold the new tub weight. Once the old tub is out, its an excellent time to accomplish that if needed. Tom

Is there a site to look at different siding options or additions and new siding/porches for mobile homes, single or double, and where can I find woodstoves that are for mobile homes, ideally NOT with an electric fan. Thanks.
