Most home improvement centers have some kind of kits which make it easy to build a carport. But be darn sure to check your local codes. Codes will be much more strict in Florida for this type of structure.

Just an FYI.......

I'm in Florida also. And I own a Carolina Carport (all steel) and it made it through 3 hurricanes.

A new roof is a big investment – and it's also one of the most important you can make for the protection and overall value of your home. Quality roofing products, professional installation and warranties, are most important for adding value to your home and providing years of trouble-free protection.

In Florida try Madden Manufacturing one of the largest manufacturers of mobile home roof over and specialty metal products in the United States at
www.maddenmetals.com

At www.servicemagic.com you can get listings of pre-screened contractors in any local market inthe country. Excellent recource for all types of repairs and renovatons.
