You can't do it yourself if thats what you're asking.Check your local yellow pages for well digging companies and call them .They can give you all the details and costs in your area.Different areas of the countries require different drilling depths to get potable water.

Several years ago one of those do-it-yourself type magazines ran an article on digging a well. If you have an area of shallow ground water, it didn't sound difficult at all. I wish I could find that magazine again and file it for future reference. But like Bill said, be dang sure your county knows what your doing.
