Water heater location in 1992 aokwood mobile haom

Post by Shaun Scales » Sat Sep 11, 2004 12:47 pm

Our water has all of a sudden not been heating, and I suspect the water heater. Yhe only problem is that I cannot find it. Can you please give me some suggestions on wherer it might be? Desperately needing hot water.

The water heater is usually inside a closet hidden behind a separate panel.

Thank You. I have a panel like the one you have described next to my washer in my laundry room, but when I open the panel all I see are pipes. I also see another wall benind the pipes. Could the water heater be behind that? I read in another forum where someone was told that their water heater will be where the water lines connect to the house. Thanks Again

If the panel in your laundry room doesn't lead to the water heater, then it is in one of your closets. Sometimes it can be hard to see because the panel matches the wall so well. Look in each closet on the ends. Look for some screws.

Or crawl underneath your house and follow the main waterline coming up from the ground. Often times it leads right up to the water heater.

Look for a short door on the out side of your MH. On most MH's that's the only way to get to the water heater.
