I have to replace my tub, it is as long and the bathroom is wide! How do I get the new one in? I can't figure it out. Thanks

You mean your trying to put in a new garden tub? You have to remember that the old tub was in place when they put the walls up. You either have to take a wall out or go to a smaller tub. Tom

The shortest tub is 54", thats what mine is,43X 54. Do I have to settle for a shower instead??

I have only seen 54" and 60" tubs on the net so far but I'll keep looking. I really need to see one first hand. I may only have to cut the wall to accomadate the front of the tub. Thanks for your info.

If the garden tub is plastic and does not have attached walls then you can replace it. Depending on were you located, there are Mobil Home Supplies that usually have several kinds garden tubs for mobils. The garden tub that you purchase at a mobil home supply will fit through the doors of your home. The other option is to go to a Manufacture Home dealer and they can order you a tub from the factories they work with. You will have to order the tub and the tub surround kit at the same time.

The other thing that you can do is put in a 32 inch shower stall and with the left over space install linen cabinet on the other side. I find that most people hardly ever use their garden tubs. They have them decorated with towles and the such. If you purchase a shower stall make sure that it one that come with a base and the side wall that assemble so you can get it throught the doors of your home.
