Crapet glued to vinyl
It's a pain in the rear Dear! I've got some very thin (very stained) carpet in my kitchen that I would like to replace with vinyl. However, it is glued to the underlying vinyl. In my world I would like to believe that is is ok to lay new vinyl over the carpet. Haha
! How on earth do I get this carpet up? Please help!!

Re: Crapet glued to vinyl
Dee,
You got that right!... Unfortunately, the only thing I know is lots of elbow grease.
Once up though, you will have to overlay the floor with underlayment. If you don't, even the smallest spec of carpet or glue will look like a huge boulder under the new lino..
Good Luck
