Ouch....of course they can delay delivery...I am sure here contract does not have a specific date mentioned...but they cannot raise the price without releasing your daughter from her obligation....If I were her I would be talking to other Solitaire dealers for comparison purposes....The original dealer would have to be much lower than the competition for me to continue with them......I hope her bank has not paid them any money...I so an attorney may well have to be involved....She should see one anyway.....Local attorneys are the best place for legal advice....
