mobile home park evictions

I currently live in a manufactured home in a park in New York State. New Owners want to evict 30+ families in order to build 94 upscale homes around the lake we live on. Working with an attorney - very scary - no place to move our homes even if we wanted to. Trying to obtain parcel of property and hoping to have town allow rezoning to accommodate us all to move as community. BUYERS BEWARE - we were told "once a mobile home park always a mobile home park" NOT SO!! Our leases were not renewed and notices have been served stating new landlard changing land use other than that of comprising manufactured homes. Anyone out there that can offer some advice or help please contact me. Thank you.

Sounds like attorneys and the courts will be the only solution...Some states have specific laws about this..I am not sure about NY...
