loan value of 2001 Palm Harbor
loan value of 2001 Palm Harbor
Does anyone know of an online site where I can find out the value of a 2001 Palm Harbor, without having to pay to find it out?

Free appraisals are worth about what you have paid for them...The most accurate appraisals involved a paid professional appraisal who make a site visit....Or you can buy a rough book value on this site..It will be only as good as the info you give them to arrive at a value...

You can get a BOOK VALUE REPORT online at www.MobileHome.com/bookvalue
This service will give you a very economical evaluation of your home based on the information you submit. What you will get back is the typical resale value of that year make and size home across the country for the past few months.
This is not a full appraisal . The reports address possibilities that include the manufactured home ONLY. No appraisal, evaluation or consideration of land value, location, or local market conditions are included and those factors could greatly effect the real market value of your manufactured home.
If you need the FULL PICTURE contact an Appraiser who is certified in Manufactured Housing Valuation for a written professional opinion prior to making any decisions that relate to buying selling or financing a previously owned manufactured home.
If your looking for a "ballpark" concept of the value of just the home you will find the cost of the Book Value Report very reasonable at only $29.95. To go to the MH BOOK VALUE page Click Here

Re: loan value of 2001 Palm Harbor
I have a subscription to NADA manufactured home appraisal guide and I would be happy to answer your question if you tell me more information on the home.
For instance:
The "Manufacturer" is Palm Harbor but is there a "Trade" name too? Like "Limited" or 1100 series or Casa Grande?
The next item of info is the "State Located."
Then, what is the box size? Not the "call" size because that includes 4' for the tongue. A typical "14 x 60" will probably tape-measure out at 14' x 56'.
I can get you a rough estimate based on that information but you must realize there are 3 more pages of information to plug in to arrive at a close estimate. Those items include everything from type of roof to heating and cooling systems to the type of community the home is in.
After all that is said and done, the bottom line is: The home is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it! If you are doing this as a business, you'll learn quickly what the values of these homes are in your area based on what you paid for them and what you can sell them for. If it's your first time buying a mobile home and you are trying to arm yourself to negotiate with a homeowner, the best thing to do is comparison shop. The areas of Florida that I work in differ greatly on typical asking prices. One area (my favorite) I can pick up nice older singlewides with all the ammenities, even fully furnished for a couple thousand bucks or less. Another area 40 miles south sees the same exact home sell for $70,000! Go figure!
Good luck to you!

Re: loan value of 2001 Palm Harbor
Hi Jim and thanks for your offer to help!
I am sure the home had a name but I can't find it on any of my paperwork.
Here is what I found out and I hope it helps. The home is 56"x31 (no tongue). The heat is electric and "intertherm" also. The design is PFS and if this helps, PH14/11867/PH356F8.
It also has a roofed, large deck (23x14) w/ carport that will be included.
The house has vaulted ceilings, ceramic tile kitchen, oak cabinets, double paned windows, 2x6's and 2x4's in walls and sheetrock in all but 2 bedrooms and extra bath.
We are hoping to sell it and have it moved it off our property, so we can build. I did get someone to tell me it had a base price of 45,000 but don't know what the extras would run.
Thanks for any help you can give, I really appreciate it!
Kim
