Extension onto an existing home

My wife and I are trying to decide if we should put an addition onto our house or move to a larger one. With that said I would like to know if there are moduler homes that are extension to existing homes.

I am sure some companies do modular room additions. They would fall under the states modular housing program.
I don't know of any off the top of my head. I guess you need to tell us what part of the country you live.
