The Way it Should Be
Re: The Way it Should Be
Hi! I am in the process of purchasing a double on land. My first home is a Carrolton Sabre 14 x 70 single wide. It was a repo that I got from Conseco/Greentree. I will never do business with them again. Try to go through your bank. As far as homes go, everyone has their favorite. I have been shopping and looking around for several years, but Wick gets my vote. I live in Des Moines and my insurance on my home is approx. 35/mo. through State Farm. I have so much on the home and so much for interior contents plus some for outer buildings-like a shed, etc. I can get a 3 bedroom, 2 bath double wide completely drywalled, cathedral window wall, leaded glass front door, etc. for under 77k. This includes AC, set in a park (not including piers). When you go into homes, you can tell the ones that are built well. A good place to really compare is a home show. Ours was the first of March and it was in the Varied Industries Building at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. I believe Wick also offers factory tours as well. I've looked for years, but these homes are the ones I feel most confident in. My dealer has a passion for customers and one of them came back to work for the company. Land is always fun to find and you never know, it could be right around the corner!

Wick's warranty is transferrable if I remember correctly. Check it out!
