Hi--It has been a long time since I have been here-I thought we would be in our home by now in fact I thought by Thanksgiving. But now it looks like it may be Next month. I was just wondering if there are any others out there who kept being put off on their dates from Cavco L. They have had about 1/3 of our money since Oct. I honestly would never recommend them to anyone. They would tell us yes we can do this and then later tell us they never said that and this has happened multiple times. Anyway....Has anyone ever experienced this long of a delay??

Did you buy direct from Cavco, or who did you buy your home through?

What kind of delays are happening? Our entire project is taking much longer than we ever anticipated, (not with Cavco) but most of the problems have nothing to do with the MH company. We have a lot of different independent contractors and utility companies working on the home, and all of them have their different schedules and delays and so forth. But I am concerned that they are trying to deny what they said. That's not a good sign.

You should put everythuing in writing, both to the dealer and the mfg. get every promise in writing. That way you have a "paper trail" and can hold them to their promises.
We have delays because of weather and such, but our customers know where they stand.
