MH Brokerage

In the central Florida area and am getting mixed stories on the definitions of a dealer and broker. A friend of mine owes me some money and wants to give me 11 in-park mobil notes. Do I need a brokers licience to sell these units ?? I've heard mention of a training class for the licience and test (they say a monkey can pass it), but I am wondering if that is the way to go. Any thoughts on these questions/ideas ?? I don't want to get into trouble with the local players.

Florida has one of the best web portals in the country..Just about eveything about state government is easily explained..

Try this URL for an explanation of the law and the proceedure to get a license..I do not see anything involving classes...but the bond is had to get..

http://www.hsmv.state.fl.us/dmv/mobiledeal.html

From what I see...you will be buying the notes...not the homes...but from the law..it seems even lenders have to sell through a dealer...but..you might want to call the DMV regional office for your area for more info..
