Insurance

I would like a list of insurance companies that provide coverage for manufactured homes in Oregon that are NOT in parks.
My mother has been trying to find cheaper coverage but it seems almost no one insures them anymore.

Thanks!

Have you checked in the insurance section of this web site...

Then look in the Yellow Pages supplied by this web site...

Both should get some results..

When your mother calls...does she call it a manufactured home..or mobile home..they would be treated different by insurance companies..

Availability of insurance has always varied by zip code...Now they are even much closer on underwriting...Many times they will refuse insurance when the homeowner has certain dogs for instance...There is a data base similar to a credit b that lists all claims on hers and other properties in the area...often the results of this search are the reasons for denial...This recently happened to me..seems the former owners had made a few claims..which kept me from getting good coverage..They even are checking credit scores now..low scores do not get covered often..

Most of the big companies..Nationwide..Foremost..Allstate..State Farm..Farm B..offer manufactured home coverage in most areas...Each has different rules about rural areas....

Good Luck
