Home with lot for vacation and to let out short term to british holidaymakers

Hi all,
we are Sharon and Chris from London uk but now living in Kent SE Uk.
We are thinking of buying a home with lot as lot rental seems rather expensive to us.
We have seen a few that interest us on this site and have about $40.000 or so to spend. We want it for our own vacations and for the winter months in Florida when we retire (15 years) and for our family to use and also to rent it out to brit holidaymakers to offset the running costs for us.
Will this be a problem for us owning a home on a park ?
Obviously a maintenance charge will have to be paid for amenaties but we wonder how much roughly this will be at the bottom and top end of the market ?
Do you guys know how much a solicitor will cost to do the legalities for us please?
Sorry for wanting too much info but we are obviously slightly worried about buying in another country as of course your laws and procedures will be different to ours although they cant be possibly worse than all the red tape we have here lol.
So guys, any info whatsoever will be greatly recieved by us and we hope to buy a home next year sometime.
Oh yes and is it easy to find someone who will cut the grass etc for us when we are not there?
Dont want much do we lol, just want to hopefully get a home that we can afford and enjoy with our kids and grandkids.
As we say here (cheers for the beers) in advance and thanks for looking at our post.
All the very best from Kent, the garden of England.
Sharon and Chris.
