best way to trade in 1999 mobile home

I have a very nice 1999 mobile home and was stupid not getting it with land at the time of purchase because of we are in a bad position with the mobile home park raising the rent every month or so.

we work in dallas texas and want to trade our house in for land mobile package in the dallas area. Any suggestions for doing so, we owe so much on the original loan and probably upside down now and do not see a way out of this situation.

we even have thought of walking away and renting a house or something like that.

Don't walk away. It will kill you later. Put it up for sale. Advertise everywhere - local papers, community circulars are really good, print flyers, and even list on the web. This time of year is horrible for sales but you could luck out. Whatever you do don't walk away from your financial obligation. You will get through it. Have you checked out any legal council on the park rental situation. There may be stipulations to rent raising in your area. Do you still have a copy of the lease agreement. Call your local housing athority and write a formal complaint against the land owners. You may be able to luck out and hold on until your house is sold. Best of luck.

One more thing. Have you talk to any local mobile home dealers. They may buy your home or even use it as a trade towards what you want.
