Cost of Modular home

Hi, my husband and I are now considering going with a modular instead of a manufactured home because of the land restrictions in our area. In our area more places allow a modular with 5 1/2 pitch roof but not a manufactured.

We were told that we should be able to purchase a 1300 or so square foot home and land, well, septic, basement, delivery, everything basically for around $125,000. Does that sound reasonable or are they not telling us the truth? I don't want to see this as a viable option if it's not really. We are looking for land in the $25,000 range. The particular home we are looking at is around $65,000.

Sounda a LITTLE HIGH...SHOP CAREFULLY...Check out the builder carefully...remember there is no help from the HUD organization that regulates manufactured homes..you will be on your own..Goods Luck..
