Belly Wrap & Cable/Telephone cables?

Post by Craig in NorCal » Sat Apr 24, 2004 9:28 am

In the final process of ordering triple wide Barrington. After delivery, if I want to install cable/phone lines to individual rooms in home, can I still do it from underside without ruining the 'belly wrap' that is protecting the home from moisture, critters, etc.? Thanks again, Craig

Craig,

Why not order outlets in each room? That is the way I went and it sure made life a lot easier with one exception, outlets on the exterior wall. My home sits on a concrete foundation so that when they set the home, it covered the access to the outlets on the exterior wall (ended up drilling thru wall to feed line to outlet). However, it worked super on my interior walls. Just located the pull wire, attached line and pulled it thru.

I am not sure I would want to try and locate walls from under the house and try to drill holes in proper place. Also, no matter how you cut it, you would still have to cut at least a small hole in the belly wrap.
