Southern Oregon Dealer Recommendations
Southern Oregon Dealer Recommendations
We plan to retire in Southern Oregon in the near future, and would like to determine how to identify MFH dealers that provide good 'after sale' support. Specifically, dealers that have gained a good reputation for standing behind their product, and providing good warranty service. Does any one have any suggestions as to how to obtain this information? I am concerned that any list names provided by a dealer would not include all customers served in the last couple of years; only the satisfied customers.
Re: Southern Oregon Dealer Recommendations
There are never any guarantees in life...of course if you are about to retire you already know this...
Knowledge is power...You have started and already done more than most buyers do in educating themselves just by being on this web site...Do yourself a favor and check out the book store here if you have not already...There are a few great books avaiable...all are good...but I might say that the author Randy Eaton is from the exact area you are looking at...Beyond just books..he also offers personal consulting services if you feel the need...
You are right..the dealer is of utmost importance...Just asking for references will tell you a lot...few customers do and just the reaction of the dealer would be helpful...Unfortunately the federal governments privacy rules now would require the dealer to ask permisson of the folks to give out their name...But see if they are eager to give you some references...
Stop back here often...read all you can...ask all the questions you have....
Good Luck and have fun..

Thank you for the helpful information Murry. I do have a couple of books, and they have been very helpful.
