Differences In Construction

My wife and I are looking at Clayton Homes and found a floor plan we really like (Pinebrook). We visited another dealer but they don't carry this specific floor plan or any other like it. But they did tell us, "Oh no you don't want anything by Clayton especially the Pinebrook because it is low end home, We suggest a Norris Home because it is put together so much better with better materials and more options." To make this short I would like to know if there is any difference in the construction between a Clayton Home and a Norris Home? and if so What is the Difference? And also if there is another manufacturer I shuld look at that has a good quality product.

LOL...Norris Homes is owned by Clayton...but yes they are a much better product than the standard Clayton product...There is no comparison...You should consider the book in the bookstore here for basic and complete on construction features..They can vary a lot from home to home...even within the same plant multiple lines are built with different specs..

I appreciate the info but, How can I find out the specs on each model and possibly where they are manufactured? Also how can I find out what makes a Clayton Home a Clayton Home and a Norris Home a Norris Home if there is no comparison between the two? Also does Norris have a web site? If they do what is the web address?

Get the liturature of each plant...then call the sales manager at the plant and ask for specific information on each...Ask about the web site as well..
