clayton vs schult

hello,
Can anyone tell me about schult homes? I understand they were in bk ch11 a while ago. What was the our come of that and who honors the warrenty now. Are these two companys owned by the same people? I just dont want any warrenty prob. and wondering if there is a big difference between these two companys. Thanks in advance,

Schult is owned by Oakwood Homes who is in bankruptcy now...BUT..Clayton has offered to buy all the assets of Oakwood and the court has agreed..That means Clayton Homes will be owning Schult..The deal is supposed to finalize in the next month or so..Part of the purchase agreement is that Clayton would assume all warranty liability...but..if you want to be sure..wait until the formal tranfer and Clayton will for sure be responsible..
