to buy or not to buy????

I have been researching everything about manufactured homes. I just cant decide on buying the home. We have so many concerns. But my biggest concern is the home holding up. We are planning to live in it a very long time. Will the home structurally hold up as well as a stick built. We are going to put it on a basement and dont want it falling apart in 15 years. Are we being to cautious? I'm sorry to sound so worried but we are going to be dishing out a lot of money and I want to make the right decision. Anything positive you can give us on our decision would help me so much. Thanks!!!

With all of the research you have done...I expect you will be careful about which features and construction quality you buy..

With that in mind...quality built manufactured homes beat the socks off of standard stick built homes...at about 1/2 the cost of a similar sized stick built home...You would be almost foolish to spend the extra money for nothing..

If you take the same care as you would have to on a stick home..you should be able to enjoy 50 or more years of comfortable...affordable living..

all homes being stick-built or manufactured may have some problems at one point or another...remember "anything built can be repaired" ALL homes have to have maintenance at one point or another...think of this....how many stick-built houses do you know of that will run 70-80 mph down the highway and stay together...hmmmmmm! just a thought...have a good day!
