Okay, what do ya'll think as far as vents go....should they be in the floor or in the ceiling?? I like ceiling because of funiture placement but have been told by SEVERAL dealers that they would go with the floor vents because of heat rising and cool air going to floor. I know that makes sense to some, but to me though air is pushed down then goes back up but it continues to push it down and so do ceiling fans. lol Then as far as heat goes...well, it comes down and stays down where you would want it....or is my thinking backwards?!? I'm asking this because we did get them in the ceiling and the guy tried his best to talk us out of doing so and even told us that if we had problems they would have to cut roof off to get to duct because of no crawl space......Thats when I got a little worried and thought I would just ask here!!

) Just give me your .02 cents.....
Thanks!

I am going to order my Homes of Merit next week in North Florida.
all of the higher end homes I have looked at over the last 3 months had the vents in the ceiling. this may just be something that is done in the southern states.
