This is a company that was owned by Champion Home Builders...The plant was in Northern Ala...

Champion has closed the plant recently...

They are a middle range home..just like most other AL built homes...there are worse products..there are better products..

If this is a new home..I might be somewhat worried about service and parts availability for repairs if needed...If it is new..you should be able to get a deep discount that might be able to make up for the risk..

Actually..Homes of Legend originally was an attempt to access some of the goodwill developed by another company...Homes of Merit...They have never been near the same home and the twist on the name did not work..

This home is a 2001. It is a repo. It has 5 bedrooms 3 baths. I was wondering if this home was bought new how much would it have cost in 2001?? It is a 28x76.
If we were to buy it we would have to changes carpet paint etc.

What is sold for in 2001 is not very important...unless you have a time machine hidden in your garage...

Current new price for similar homes in the SE would be between $50K and $55K...Delivered with a/c..

Actually home prices probably were a little higher 2 or 3 years ago....
