UL Home Set DAY!!

Post by Eugene Tartt » Tue Oct 28, 2003 6:48 pm

WOW! What a day. To see that new beautiful HUGE home being brought into my property and very skillfully guided through my oak trees was an awesome sight! I definitely would not want to do that for a living! Everything went very smoothly, no problems. My new Skyline is a sight to behold. I definitely have THE home on the block!!LOL Everything I have learned here and elsewhere really paid off today. I snapped a lot of pictures and absolutely enjoyed my day. The crew kept commenting on how nice and well built (and heavy) my new home was. The factory executed all my changes beyond my expectations. The crew did a great job, worked together well, were professional and we all had fun. I have about 7 to 10 days of tape and texture, painting, trim, electrical and A/C work ahead. Kudos to Skyline and Byrd's dealership. I am one very happy new homeowner! I'll keep you posted.....:)

Thank you very much Charlotte. I wish you the very same experience I have had so far. Have you decided on a home yet?:)

I have decided on a home. Karsten pulled out of my area, the owner of three dealerships went out of business. I took my floor plan to another company, BonnaVilla and asked if they would do my floor plan, they will, in the end I like the finishing touches better than Karsten and they do have OSB and Plywood options as flooring.

Kenmore appliances also.

Sounds like a blessing in disguise. Please keep us posted. I would go for the OSB flooring; Kenmore is quality and carries a great warranty........we'll be waiting:)

Originally BellaVista was my first choice but I changed because I was told they didn't have OSB or Plywood for BellaVista just BonnaVilla.

I will go for the OSB etc. will keep everyone posted.
