HELP
HELP
Did the Randy Eaton books really help? We are comparing homes right now so we are basically on brain overload. Been living in a tent since mid May--our goal was to have the kids in a home by school start. Not sure now this will happen. Still fighting with our insurance company (no legal advice) and handling health issues. Roof leaked on 88 MH, the resulting molds caused serious health concerns for our family. We are still dealing with them even though we have been out of the home since Thanksgiving 02. The insurance put us in a hotel for the next few months, made there decision to repair part and "wipe down" the rest as whole home remediation. If this was a school, nursing home, federal building it would be burned. Any one out there willing to point us toward the best MH we would appreciate it. Thanks
Re: HELP
Randy's books were used for a starting point on who and what to look for. One of the manufacturer's (Commodore) he recommended couldn't come close to many of the minimums he recommended (or at least they couldn't be bothered to try). And if we go HUD (may have to go modular due to appraisal problems in the area we want to build), it will be with a manufature (Ritz-Craft) not mentioned in his book.
Good luck!
Good luck!
Re: HELP
They may not tear your MH down, but if they find out you've been living in a tent instead of house they will tear your tent down. Have you even been to look at the MH in the local area? Most are very nice and good quality. It looks live you live in Seattle - you should check out the dealers in Puyallup.
