Just a word of thanks to all those on this board who post regularly and provide invaluable insight and suggestions. I started on this board asking questions and researching last September. I read, read and then read more and asked a ton of questions. Then I finally started working floor plans and eventually designed my own customized 3/2 2400 square foot home. I visited several dealers and ended up going with Homes of Merit. Finally today, our house arrived and even though it is just sheet rock at this pointt and needs to be finished on site, it is absolutely perfect. Not one problem after thorough inspection. It was very tedious indeed and we went through more changes than Carter has liver pills. But it sure was worth it. Without the help and assistance of so many here, such as rmurray I am sure my venture would have not gone as smoothly as it did. We now truly have a one of a kind home and HOM is considering adding it as a floorplan to their line up. HOM did a top notch job and I am extremely critical.

P.S.,,,You said "more changes than Carter has liver pills"...you must be nearly as old as I...Carter quit selling pills a long time ago...30 years ago...smile..

Hey murray! Yep already have been planning the landscaping for a while now. Bought my 3 car garage, the 33' pool and damn is sod expensive when ya need 30 pallets!
