Liberty??

How does Liberty stack up to Patriot? I have ordered Randy's book but it hasn't come yet. I have a dealer wanting to make a deal but I don't know that much about Liberty. Thanks

According to Randy's book, this particular maunfacturer falls into the poor quality construction and isn't highly recommended. I myself haven't seen one, so I can't speak of personal experience. I would trust his judgement though. If the dealer is wanting to deal with you, they'll wait and allow you to make an informed decision and not push you into something your not quite comfortable with yet.

Sorry about that. I really didn't address Patriot homes any. Randy's book rates these fairly well, and Patriot is by far a better product than Liberty. As for personal experience though, I'm not too impressed with their customer service. That coming from the manufacturer itself, and at least one dealer I dealt with.

Thanks for the info.. I had gone into this dealer a couple of years ago when I hadn't done any research at all. I almost bought one then but I was having trouble selling my older home so I called it off. When I started my search again, I went back, because they seemed nice but still hadn't done any research. Then I found this site and started reading. I went to several different dealers & found a Patriot I liked but then out of the blue the first dealer called me back. Of course, promising the same floor plan, all the options & beating the price with the Liberty.
Maybe Randy's book will get here today. I tried to download the e-book but had trouble with it so they were supposed to be mailing me one but that was last week and I still don't have it.
