Looking for the right home in KS

I have looked around at some MH, but after reading some of postings on this forum, I think I need to ask some questions:

I live in KS near Lawrence. I just put an offer in on 6.5 acres in the country. I looking for around 1200 sq ft. that I will put on a basement. I saw an Ashton model that I liked. Anyone out there have feedback on Model 1950-1? I also liked Patriot homes Victorian Model NR110.
At one dealer, the salesman tried to sell me one from the lot that was basement ready but I didn't like the colors, so he said he would let me order what I wanted for the same price. Is there someplace I can find out what the going price is for a certain model?
Any info would be helpful. Thanks!
