I am considering purchasing a Palm Harbor singlewide, Marietta (model 76E4) 16x76.
Price sis great (display model). It has 5/8" plywood floors, great insulation, storm windows, etc. It was manufactured in Georgia. I live in Tampa, about 20 minutes from the Palm Harbor, Plant City factory.
Is there a difference in the quality of a home made in one factory vs. another?
Does anyone own one that was made in Ga.? What is the quality for the home?
Should I be looking at doublewides instead?
Are display models already worn down by the elements? Palm Harbor is including their 5 year warranty even though it's a 2000 model.
i.e. a 3 year old car that was not driven, is still a 3 year old car. Right?
