Fleetwood vs Horton & New vs Previously Owned

Hello - I am in the process of purchasing a Manufactured Home - This lady is selling her 1998 Horton 3 Bedroom 2 bath rooms - Washer & Dryer - Small Drive Way for 47,000 - I can get a Brand New Fleetwood for 43 and up in the same neighborhood but I won't get a drive way - I will get a washer dryer, dishwasher, and small deck. My question is - Does Fleetwood have good products, how are they on customer service and is Horton better - my next question is - should I really be questioning between a 2003 and a 1998 - does it just make since to buy the newer home?

I don't really know the answer to the question of new vs. used, but I have read on this forum that Horton is superior to Fleetwood in quality. Hope this helps.

All I can say is look at both homes. If you don't feel that the quality of the Horton
is far superior to the Fleetwood, look again. Also be sure to check the construction
features, exterior sidewalls, interior sidewalls, ceiling, etc. Usually, the lowball
price of the new Fleetwoods does not have many upgrades. They do have a lot
of eye candy, but you gotta look past that.
