Hi all,
I went to a local dealer today and looked at some Redman homes. While I do not know a great deal about the different brands, the construction did look solid according to the documentation on the home. Does anyone have any pros or cons they would be willing to share concerning this manufacturer?
Redman Homes?
While I'm at it, I have a few more ?'s
Like I said earlier, I was looking at a Redman home at a local dealer. I have been "pre-qualified." From what I understand so far, they offer FHA loans and I was told that I could do it with 0 down because I would get a "free" down payment w/ the FHA loan that I would not have to pay back. This deal kinda sounds too good to be true. Is it? I may be adding on here more as I think of things. Thanks in advance.

You are right...nothing is free in this world...
FHA does require a 3% down payment....but they allow nonprofit companies to pay them for you...but the dealer has to raise the price by this 3%..plus a $650 fee charged by the nonprofit company for the service....So the home is costing you at least $ 650 more to cover this transaction...
Champion ownes Redman...The Redman brand name is used in many plants and they are all different...You will have to compare yourself...
