What about Panelized homes? Read this!
Re:Panelized homes
Of course...you could even save more money with a little more work by taking you truck to Home Depot or Lowes and buy everything from scratch and building from ground up...Of course this takes cash...and expertise that many of our customers do not have...(Me included)

Hillbilly is as hillbilly does.
There has to ba a manufacturer willing to ship higher end units to the deep south!
I hear tell there's some real rich people down there.
And when real rich southerners want to buy a new house, the only hard thing to set up is "who's gonna help'm take off the wheels"
Sorry, not reeeeel funny.

You've been watching too much television, Mr. Peltier! And while we're telling jokes, have you heard this one?
--- How are (damn)Yankees like a hemorrhoid?
Answer: They'll come down but they won't go back up.
Ain't it the truth?
Mrs. X

They say the same thing in Arizona about snowbirds.
I am actually a transplanted Yankee. I have spent time in Texas, Louisiana and Arizona but live in Michigan.
Not because I want to live in Michigan I assure you.
I would much rather live in any of the states I listed above. Unfortunately, I have found that in order to make enough money to live comfortably, Michigan is the place to be.
That is why we yankees like to visit and retire down south or out west but continue to toil in places like Michigan.
And that is possibly why a Higher priced and apparently higher quality (from the sounds of some messages I have read here) MH is dificult to find in the South. Lower income kills the market for such a home. NO insult was meant or implied.

Candidly...if wages were high in the South...NOBODY would live in the North....SNOW...ICHHHHHHHHH
:-) You MIGHT be a redneck if....sm
well, we won't go there. lol
True, there are a good many "rednecks" around these here parts. But also people with perfectly good taste but not a lot of money, as in my case. *sigh* (My husband is a teacher, has a college degree, has 16 years experience, and puts up with loads of crap, sorry, redneck word, every day. And all for only $30,000 a year. I am a homemaker and also a teacher, as I homeschool my children.)
Be that as it may, I and many other Southerners I know are perfectly intelligent, even if we do talk funny.
I would love to go up North to visit, especially New England during fall, but then get me back to the balmy breezes of the South!

Re: :-) We don't talk funny - THEY talk funny
Have you ever heard a man say he loves to hear Yankee women talk? No! THEY'RE the ones who turn 2-syllable words into one-syllable words - i.e. "prade" for "parade," "creer" for "career," "pleece" instead of "police" and then there's my all-time favorite pet peeve - they say "Loyer" when they mean "Lawyer." Other offenses - "Ar" is (mis)pronouced "ER" - i.e, Erizona, Erabs (Arabs), "perents" etc. And THEY'RE criticizing US ????? Then throw in their lack of manners, and their routine use of vulgarity as if they believe it's acceptable and you've got a bunch of truly low caliber people. And as for rednecks - the redneck capitals of the world are New Joisey and OHIya (Ohio).

A-and the southern girls with the way they talk, they knock me out when I'm dowm there.
I've been all around this great big world and I've seen all kinds of girls; But I can't wait to get back to the states, back to the cutest girls in the world.
SORRY, just felt like singing.
